Aquarius | The Star

The tarot card associated with Aquarius is The Star. Both promote nourishing and healing energies, and focus on the balance between our internal intuitive world and the outer material realm.

Aquarians are often seen as innovative and socially conscious, with dreams of making the world a better place for everyone. The Star matches this message with themes of hope for a bright future, particularly after a period of upheaval or difficult change. The Star represents creative energy, and Aquarius also holds creative tendencies, sometimes on the verge of seeming eccentric. Most importantly they both ask us to listen closely to our inner voice - that which guides our intuition and makes us unique.

It’s been a while since I sat down and did a reading for myself, so I thought I’d try out the Aquarius/Star template for the new moon. I actually found it to be a really gentle reminder of the things that ground and nourish me – my family and nature, which are inextricably intertwined. I’m not surprised to see some water/cups cards here, either, gently reminding me to heal past regrets and to lead others through my creative expression.
