Honeysuckle - Birth Flower of June

One of the birth flowers for the month of June is honeysuckle, and ours has started blooming! We have these vines in our backyard and they get beautiful white and pale yellow flowers, but honeysuckle can come in a range of colors from coral, hot pink, fuchsia, and orange.

Traditionally honeysuckle represents affection, happiness, joy, new love, and nostalgia. The vines of the plant are strong and fibrous, and have been historically used for rope, giving it another association of loving bonds and union.

Did you know that honeysuckle was one of the botanical designs for the Seeking Glass pendant series? There is also a matching bandana/altar cloth and sticker! And, if you’re looking for even more magic and symbolism I have small rituals/meditations for each design in the Seeking Glass Practices booklet. Check out my shop to read more about this talisman series.
