Charm Symbolism (in alphabetical order):

Chrysanthemum - Longevity | Joy | Devotion

Fragrance Oil - Jojoba Oil, heather, bark and spice, bamboo

A tiny bud of coral petals unfurls into an explosion of color, like fireworks in the night sky. One by one the flowers pop open, creating a field of full-bodied, robust blooms. Chrysanthemum has long symbolized happiness and joy. It is a hardy plant and grows and blooms prolifically, and the flowers have been used in teas to treat illness, making it also an iconic symbol for health and long life. Just as the colorful flowers return and multiply throughout the season, chrysanthemum represents returning love and commitment. Allow optimism to radiate within and around you and let the warmth of chrysanthemum revitalize your spirit.

Crocus - Rebirth | Resilience | Hope

Fragrance Oil - Jojoba Oil, fern, snowberry, rain

Amidst a white, snowcapped landscape, candy-colored blooms begin poking up from the ground. Crocus is one of the first flowers to appear in early spring, heralding in the beginning of new growth and fresh rains. Despite the layer of ice and snow, these delicate flowers are able to push their way to the surface, reaching for the ever-growing daylight. Crocus may be tiny, but their bright colors are always a welcome sign in the drabs of late winter. A small beacon of hope, a rebirth of color, and resilience against harsh elements make crocus a beautiful symbol for inner strength, renewal, and self-confidence.

Goldenrod - Luck | Success | Prosperity

Fragrance Oil - Jojoba Oil, elderberry, honey, and campfire

What is more luxurious than a field of gold? In the heat of summer, goldenrod is prolific, filling fields and gardens with clustering yellow blooms. It is a natural favorite for pollinators, attracting all different kinds of wildlife. Bringing goldenrod into your life can help to bring prosperity and luck. The bright flowers contain the warmth of the sun, certain to brighten any dull mood or atmosphere. Wear this goldenrod charm when you are in need of an extra energy boost, or if you're looking to manifest success or growth in your life.

Hawthorn - Protection | Banishment | Consecration

Fragrance Oil - Jojoba Oil, jasmine, almond, and anise

Hawthorn is an old, magical plant. In spring the trees are heavy with creamy pink or white blossoms, in early autumn they are replaced with plump red berries. It has been used as a symbol of consecration in wedding crowns, and its branches have been used as May Poles to celebrate the arrival of spring. There is no wonder it is also considered to have protective qualities, given the long thorns adorning each bough. Planting or placing hawthorn around your home is said to keep unwanted entities away. Wear this charm as a sign of blessing for a special occasion, or if you need an extra boost of psychic or mental protection. Hawthorn reminds us of the magic found in every day life, and also to set healthy boundaries for ourselves.

Honeysuckle - Intimacy | Love | Sweetness

Fragrance Oil - Jojoba Oil, honeysuckle, gardenia, and sea salt

The perfume of honeysuckle is unmistakable. It lures you in, begging you to draw closer until you are tangled within the delicate blooms and twisting vines. The shrubs grow tall and the vines climb until they spill over themselves in a cascade of white or yellow. You may even steal a sweet kiss from one of the flowers, pulling the stamen from the petals to reveal a tiny drop of nectar. Wear this charm when you wish to open yourself to love, or when you'd like to share an intimate moment with another. Honeysuckle reminds us to be tender, sweet, and kind in order to draw those qualities into our own lives.

Ivy - Ambition | Adaptability | Resourcefulness

Fragrance Oil - Jojoba Oil, English ivy, apple, leather

On a misty morning dark green leaves tendril out to catch the droplets of rain. Whether scaling the side of a building or blanketing the ground, ivy is a plant that reaches. It grows quickly, searching for nourishment, light, and water. What better icon for achieving your goals? Regardless of what structure might be in the way, ivy is flexible, able to wind into tight spaces and around dangerous corners. These qualities make it a great symbol for resourcefulness, creative and strategic thinking, and ambition. Set your sights high and call upon the determined nature of ivy to help you meet them.

Moonflower - Awareness | Guidance | The Unknown

Fragrance Oil - Jojoba Oil, moonflower, white tea, sweetgrass

Under a bright full moon, soft glowing petals turn their faces to the sky. They unfurl amidst a blanket of broad, dark leaves, becoming floating orbs that mimic the celestial body above them. Moonflower blooms throughout the night and closes her petals when the sun begins to rise. The white flowers act as a beacon, guiding us through the darkness as they stem and twine. For this reason, moonflower is a beautiful symbol of exploring the unknown. As we navigate our subconscious and the shadowy parts of ourselves, it is comforting to have a guide to lead us back to the light. Spiritual awareness can be gained by bridging the gap between our waking and sleeping minds. Use moonflower as a tether so that you might search those unexplored areas but return to your grounded self when the time comes.

Oak - Wisdom | Reserve | Untapped Potential

Fragrance Oil - Jojoba Oil, Oakmoss, chardonnay, sassafras

Deep within a forest of saplings stands one tree whose roots reach far into the earth, and its boughs into the heavens. Oak trees can grow to be ancient, to towering heights and with expansive trunks. The incredible thing is that these giants begin as a tiny acorn. The acorn itself is resilient, taking root wherever it may land and quickly establishing its stronghold on the ground around it. From the opportunistic seedling to the mature tree who watches the cycles of the forest around it, oak is no doubt a strong symbol. All of this power resides in a single acorn, making it a great icon for individual strength and potential.

Poppy - Rest | Sleep | Dreamwork

Fragrance Oil - Jojoba Oil, chamomile, vanilla, lavender

From a tangle of silver-green foliage a sea of red crepe-paper flowers reaches toward the sunlight. The brightly colored blooms sway softly on their tall stalks, like a crowd of faces nodding in and out of sleep. Poppies have long been associated with slumber and altered states of consciousness. Various types of poppy have been used throughout history for their sedative and pain-relieving qualities. When safely administered, this flower can ease the mind and body, promoting rest and recovery.  For these reasons, poppy is a great symbol to use for dreamwork, to help with insomnia, and to create feelings of peace.

White Pine - Grounding | Healing | Nourishment

Fragrance Oil - Jojoba oil, forest pine, copal, and juniper

White pine has been used medicinally for its antiseptic and healing qualities, and magically for healing, purification, and longevity. I grew up with these trees in our yard, and love the smell of pine needles. As they drop to the ground they create a soft blanket, rich in nutrients where mushrooms and other things can grow. If you're feeling a lot of pent up energy, I recommend sitting under a group of pines to ground and refocus. The wind through the branches, the smell of the resin and needles, and the softness of the pine duff create a very calming environment. Pine reminds us to root, quiet our minds, and be engaged with our environment.
